PLAN YOUR WORK AND WORK YOUR PLAN  

Part I

It's that time of the year when we all should look ahead and plan.  In addition Vince Lombardi said, "A man can be as great as he wants to be. If you believe in yourself and have the courage, the determination, the dedication, the competitive drive and if you are willing to sacrifice the little things in life and pay the price for the things that are worthwhile, it can be done."

Take inventory of yourself.  Are you where you want to be?  If not, why not?

As Tommy Lasorda said, "The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a man's determination."  The truth is, most people give up WAY to easily.   Why?  Because there is WORK involved. Uh oh... did I just say a four-letter word?

The bottom line is that if you want something in life, you have to decide that you are going to do whatever it takes to get it (provided that your actions are legal!)  And yes, it is going to be work.  But that doesn't mean you have to hate it!  In fact, I LOVE my work!

I daresay that each of us are wired in a way that if we are doing what we were designed to do, we will each love our own work.  "Setting a goal is not the main thing. It is deciding how you will go about achieving it and staying with that plan."  (Tom Landry )  the key component here is that you take ACTION.

Good intentions, warm fuzzy thoughts and attempting to "will" good things to come your way will get you absolutely nothing.  Planning your work and working your plan is the key to success.  It's a simple formula. But most people miss it.
